La fermentaci\u00f3n se realiza en barricas de roble de 500 litros, tanques de cemento y acero inoxidable, a temperaturas de entre 26 y 28\u00b0 C durante 10 a 15 d\u00edas. El per\u00edodo de maceraci\u00f3n post-fermentativa oscila entre los 5 y 10 d\u00edas. Este vino recrea el \u201cCorte Original de Burdeos&#8221;, cuando durante los siglos XVIII y XIX, el Malbec predominaba sobre el Merlot y estaba en pie de igualdad con el Cabernet Sauvignon, en la zona del M\u00e9doc.
